Ron Kanoza earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of South Florida. A Tampa Bay native, Ron developed an early appreciation for Florida’s natural resources through childhood visits to state and national parks with his family. Since joining WRA, he has supported gopher tortoise relocation activities, wetland monitoring, listed-species surveys, and water-quality sampling. Ron is also an FWC Authorized Gopher Tortoise Agent.
