Tiger Woods’ PopStroke Putting Course Ready To Open!
On February 9th, 2023 champion Tiger Woods announced on Twitter that the new Wesley Chapel, Florida, PopStoke location will open on February 17th 2023 at noon. Different than the usual putting course, PopStroke features two 18-hole courses without mini-golf obstacles. Instead it provides an Augusta-like course in miniature that incorporate fairways, bunkers and roughs.
The new PopStroke venue is located at Cypress Creek Town Center, 25297 Sierra Center Blvd., Lutz, Florida. This location features a restaurant, ice-cream bar, and a playground for children.
“It’s one of the only concepts I know of anywhere in world, really, where you can find a 3-, 8-. 27- and 80-year-old enjoying it to the same extent,” said Co-Owner Greg Bartoli in February 2022 at the venue's groundbreaking.
The company, owned 50/50 by Bartoli and Woods, has six venues up and running, five in the state of Florida and one in Houston. Florida has added new locations recently in Orlando, Sarasota and Delray Beach. PopStroke Additional locations are scheduled to open this year in Glendale, Arizona and Scottsdale, Arizona. The first PopStroke was opened in Port St. Lucie, Florida, four years ago.
